Episode #7 : Memories Can't Wait

Happy New Year Everyone,

We would like to send you a happy new year for the yet still very virgin book of 2013, waiting to be written out.  If you are not a writer, we wish you lots of wonderful happy reading.  Lots of new books will be coming out this year.  To support them, it looks like that our program will remain on air, potentially for a new season.

As you may have noticed, Book Case TV went on rerun mode for the 24th Dec and 31st Dec Eve.   Given that the majority of you, we assume, will not be in front of your TV set on these dates, our producing team decided to preserve new episodes for better opportunities.

Tonight, we are resuming the broadcast of our new programs with Episode 7: Memories Can’t Wait.  As always you can watch live on NYC Life channel 25 at 9:30 pm, same time every monday.

Host Frederic Colier reflects on the nature of memoir writing with guests that include Karl Ove KnausgÃ¥rd, the Norwegian writer who opens up about his six-volume memoir My Struggle, and local writer Kevin Terrence Hodge who discusses his experiences in From Dope to Hope.

Frederic Colier also meets with someone familiar with Mars: Andrew Kessler, author of Martian Summer: Robot Arms, Cowboy Spaceman and My 90 Days with the Phoenix Mars Mission. They discuss Andrew’s new book project, a website called, that brings authors and audiences together online.

Books featured in this episode’s Pick of the Week include Winter Journal by Paul Auster, Joseph Anton by Salman Rushdie and Viper Pilot: A Memoir of Air Combat by Dan Hampton.

For past episodes, we can watch them free on VOD by clicking on the link below.

See you tonight
